3. How long have you worked for BSU?
12 years
4. How long have you lived in Boise?
17 years- we moved here from Laguna Beach CA when my son was 1 year old
5. What’s your favorite part about working for BSU?
Undoubtedly teaching in the classroom, allowing a place for students to learn about themselves
and a safe place to discuss and debate interesting psychological issues.
6. What’s your favorite hang out spot on campus?
I’d have to say Bronco Stadium during a homegame
7. What’s your favorite part about Boise?
It’s diversity- kidding! I like the simple uncomplicated life style, the Boise RIver and the Greenbelt, and how
safe children are in our neighborhoods.
8. Favorite class to teach?
I love teaching Psych 101, but I’m excited to be teaching the Psychology of Health during the 2015 Summer Session
9. What was your favorite class in college? Why?
It was a class at the University of California, Irvine, called Transpersonal Psychology. I liked it because it
challenged so many of my beliefs at the time and opened up a new way of thinking for me that I still think
about today. It was my first introduction to Ralph Waldo Emerson and his unique way of viewing the world.
That class stretched me.
