HC: Major? Minor?
JK: I’m a neuroscience major with a visual arts minor.
HC: Where do you spend most of your time on campus?
JK: Thinking about it, the bajilion trips to the union each week to check mail or grab snacks probably add up.
HC: What Bowdoin event are you most looking forward to this spring?
JK: It’s a toss up between the reappearance of all the dog walkers on the quad or the day all of the ice on the deadly staircase at Pine St. melts (it has seen too many casualties). …also, Ivies.
HC: Ideal Ivies line up?
JK: Oh boy. Is this hypothetical? I’ll pretend it’s hypothetical. Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, and Simon and Garfunkel. Back in the real world, I was pretty excited to see the very faint possibilities of Arctic Monkeys and Childish Gambino.
HC: For Valentine’s day, flowers or chocolate?
JK: Normally I’d say potted flowers or a cactus or something; however, I recently received an absolutely unholy amount of my favorite chocolate (awesome) as a gift from my boyfriend, which has biased me towards the edibles.
HC: What did you do over Winter Break?
JK: I played Civilization V as Genghis Khan.
HC: Favorite Super Bowl snack?
JK: …buffalo chicken dip?
HC: Biggest culture shock coming to Maine from Montana?
JK: Pop vs. Soda. (Although I suppose there are many meaningful lessons I’ve learned from my friends who come from different backgrounds.)
HC: Song you’re listening to on repeat right now?
JK: In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, Neutral Milk Hotel.
HC: Are you hoping for mo’ snow or no snow this winter?
JK: Wouldn’t it be great if it could be snowy and also 70º?
