It’s been years since Harry Styles has released any new, original music and he has kept his fans patiently waiting. Many of us are interested to see what kind of sound he will put out next, after his most recent release of ‘Fine Line’ in December of 2019.
The new album ‘Harry’s House’ was announced on March 23rd by Styles and his team and is set to be released on May 20th by Columbia Records. It was stated that the album will span across 13 tracks.
The name for the album comes from Joni Mitchell’s 1975 album, The Hissing of Summer Lawns which includes the song “Harry’s House / Centerpiece.” Joni commented on the album’s title on Twitter, shown in the tweet below.
‘Harry’s House’ will be Harry Styles’ third album release, following 2017’s debut ‘Harry Styles’ and 2019’s ‘Fine Line.’ Those in the music industry and fans alike will be interested to see how this new release will compare to ‘Fine Line,’ as it was widely successful and earned him the Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy For “Watermelon Sugar.”
We will be anxiously awaiting more updates about this album, especially those of us who collect vinyl and don’t want to miss out on another exclusive pressing of a Harry Styles album that will get resold for 10 times the original retail price. Just me? And maybe Harry will drop some “easter eggs” like Taylor Swift does for her releases. We’ll just have to wait and see.
