It’s finally November, and you know what that means? It’s time for the Thanksgiving festivities to start! This year, I’m reflecting on the 10 things I’m thankful for:
1. My Parents
My parents have shaped me into the person I am today. Without them, I literally wouldn’t be alive, and as much I insisted that I didn’t need them, they were there, ready to help me get back on my feet if I failed. I’m thankful for all the sacrifices they made so that I can have everything I wanted and more.
2. Friends
From dance class to midterms, my friends give me an excuse to laugh and have fun. They are funny, silly, crazy and everything in between. So, thank you to my friends for making me laugh until I cry, for running around campus at midnight with me for no reason at all, for drawing me cupcakes in math class and all the inside jokes we have together.
3. Fuzzy socks
Honestly, fuzzy socks are so comfortable, especially when it’s cold outside. The days when you get to wear fuzzy socks, fuzzy pants and hoodies are truly the epitome of comfort. In my opinion, true holiday seasons starts when I break out the festive fuzzy socks, sweatpants and hoodies.
4. The snooze button
Those days when you’re exhausted and still need those 5 more minutes, the snooze button is a blessing. The moment when you can sink back into blissful sleep after turning off your alarm is amazing. Honestly, I love sleeping.
5. Good Hair days
Having a good hair day, is the most amazing thing ever, especially when paired with an awesome outfit. It’s such a confidence booster and in my opinion, can turn around any bad day. Having that one good hair day, makes you feel on top of the world and honestly, it’s the best feeling ever!
