This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

Midterm season is in session and everyone is cramming in that last bit of knowledge. What you might not have realized though, is that Halloween is just a week from today!

While there are some great events happening all over campus, CLICK HERE! there are some other spooktacular events happening off campus that you might be interested in:

Thursday Oct 30th

Time to begin the weekend celebrations!

Halloween Storytellers: The night before Halloween, experience some of Berklee College of Music’s finest singers and singer-songwriters in a concert performance of spooky songs, and devilish delights.

Friday, Oct 31st

So many parties to attend, which one will you be at?

Costume Party (“Revenge of the Nerds”) at The Estate Boston! 21+, $15

Frightful Fridays at Gore Place in Waltham! Wow, ghost trivia, ghost stories, and explore the 1806 Gore mansion! Since it’s in Waltham, grab a group of your closest friends and split a taxi there (it’s only 3 miles away) OR for a spookier night of fun, go trick-or-treating while you walk there.  $15 general admission.

Beacon Hill with a BOO! $20 for general admission, but it’s one of the must-do’s when you’re in Boston during Halloween. A perfect walking tour that has been running for over 30 years!

“Scared for Good” Halloween Organ Concert: Support a good cause because though this event is FREE, you should donate to support the Allston-Brighton Food Pantry.  Listen to creepy tunes on the E.M. Skinner organ with the candlelit glimmering off of the Gothic splendor of Old South Church in Boston.

Saturday, Nov 1st

The fun isn’t over yet!

Costume Party (“Princesses and Villains”) at The Estate Boston! 21+, $15
