Five DIY Face masks for Finals

Finals are stressful so it is important to remember to take care of yourself. Here are 5 DIY face masks you can make in your dorm that will help you treat-yo-self!

  1. Moisturizing and Calming Banana Mask

Ingredients:

  • ½ Banana

  • ¼ tsp plain yogurt

  • 2 tbsp honey

    Directions: Mash Banana into a smooth paste, then mix in honey and yogurt. Apply to face and let sit for 10-20 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

2.  Relaxing Avocado Mask

    Ingredients:

  • ½ avocado

  • 1 tsp plain yogurt

  • 1 tsp honey

    Directions: Mask avocado into a paste, and then mix in honey and yogurt. Apply to face and leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

    What it does: Avocados give your skin a healthy glow and can help reduce wrinkles, and honey helps reduce blemishes and acne and yogurt helps tighten pores.

3. Calm and Clear Honey Mask

    Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • Juice from a lemon wedge

    Directions: Slightly warm honey in the microwave for a few seconds. Once it is warm, mix in lemon juice and cinnamon. Massage the mixture into your skin and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

4. Glowing Honey Citrus Mask

    Ingredients:

  • 3 ½  tsp honey

  • 2 tsp orange juice

    Directions: Slightly warm honey in the microwave for a few seconds. Once it is warm, mix in orange juice and wait for the mixture to cool slightly. Apply to face and leave it for 15 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.

5. Soothing Oatmeal Mask

    Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

    Directions: Mix ingredients in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and even. Apply to face and let sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.
