Her Campus: So we hear you are competing for the title of Mr. Brandeis (a fundraiser for Relay for Life). What would it mean to you if you won?
Makalani Mack: It would actually mean a lot to me if I won. I think it would be pretty cool to have that title and especially for such a great cause.Â
HC: Why do you relay?
MM: I relay because I want to show my concern on the matter of Cancer. I know and understand the severeness of the disease from personal experience with a family member.Â
HC: How do you feel about ladies being able to bid on a date with you?
MM: It’s okay I guess, haha i think it would make me feel like an old classic car at an auction.Â
HC: What is the talent you are planning on showing off during the Mr. Brandeis competition?
MM: I may sing; not sure yet.Â
HC: What are you involved with on campus?
MM: Track and field, MOCA, Waltham group, voices of soul a Capella group.Â
HC: What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?
MM: Take everything one step at a time.Â
