True to form, DJs at Ultra Music Festival this year were dropping epic new beats in almost every set. If you didn’t make it to Miami last weekend for the festival, no worries. Here are a few of the new songs you missed and where you can listen to them before they’re everywhere.
Steve Aoki
The names of these songs are unknown to date, but Steve Aoki unleashed a storm of awesome new music on his crowd. The one featuring Snoop is especially great obviously because Snoop.
Steve Aoki, Matthew Koma—10:00
Steve Aoki, Headhunterz—14:00
Steve Aoki, Snoop Dogg—16:45
Cedric Gervais, Tamposi
No name technically for this one either but it’s probably, “Giving it All Up for Love” and it’s going to be a Gervais classic when it comes out in full. Head to 36:40 in the video below.
Avicii, Martin Garrix, John Legend—Waiting For Love
The verses on this song are awesome, no question, thanks to vocals by John Legend. The jury is out on the drop—it seems a little too familiar. But then again, Avicii is kind of like the Steve Jobs of EDM. We disregard some of his songs (iPhone? So ugly—everyone circa 2007) only to have them grow on us in a huge way. Ultra 2013 audiences booed Hey Brother when he first dropped it there.

David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Afrojack—Hey Mama
Hey Mama is the collaboration we’ve always dreamed of: David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, and (although no credit given on the album) Afrojack. This song is already out and available, but not in all the housed-out glory in which it was dropped at Ultra. For a taste head to the link below and fast-forward to 6:05, although I can’t in good conscious suggest you then skip over other classics from Listen like Lovers on the Sun (22:45) or What I Did For Love (24:47).
