During this sensitive times, people can be different in many ways. Like either keeping active in their own homes, or just doing absolutely nothing.
Then we have those who are sick from the coronavirus, and are just sick of the coronavirus. Especially when you are a student taking on online classes during the time of remote learning.
Preparing for finals can be very stressful and overwhelming, but studying while you’re ill can be a real trial. If you are well enough to hit the textbooks, you can still get in some significant study time while you’re sick. Here are ten tips to stay on top of your studies and recover at the same time:
- Go to the doctor and take some medication.
- Drink lots of water and eat healthy snacks.
- Email your professor if you have to miss a class, or are confused on any assignment.
- Get enough rest, but don’t wear your pajamas all day.
- Take caffeine in moderation to study and concentrate.Â
- Divide up your study plans into small, 15-30 minute chunks.Â
- Do easy tasks that don’t require much thinking or memorizing.Â
- Try to study in your living room or kitchen to resist sleeping.
- Keep your room clean and well ventilated.
- Check out your school’s policy on illness.
