The Gossip Girl Reboot Season Two premieres on HBO Max on Thursday, December 1, 2022! While we eagerly await its arrival, here are your Gossip Girl-approved plans to schedule with your besties at Brown in the meantime: 

  • Breakfast on the steps of the Student Center: A Brown students’ rendition of the iconic steps of the Met scenes in Gossip Girl. Visit the Blue Room for a latte or cappuccino, and sip away while enjoying the brisk fall morning on the steps overlooking the Main Green. 
  • Holiday shopping at Tiffany & Co., Free People, Swarovski, and Zara at Providence Place (an S & B shopping date!) Enjoy a retail reprieve with your best friend & select some special gifts for friends and family on your holiday list. 
  • Pamper day: Start by lighting a candle, using facial and hair masks, and painting your nails. Conclude your pamper moment feeling & looking refreshed.  
  • Sunday brunch at Bellini: A weekend necessity. Enjoy some avocado toast or sweet delights in a well-decorated environment. 
  • Studying at the John J. Hay Library: It wouldn’t be Gossip Girl without academics. Schedule a productive afternoon study session with your besties to accomplish all your goals in a very collegial & motivating atmosphere. 
  • Cozy dinner date at Hemenway’s: Wear your most elegant apparel for a lovely seafood dinner with moving company. Be sure to order dessert to conclude this occasion – S & B would not forgo a sweet treat at the end of a special night. 
  • Audrey Hepburn Movie Showing w/ Macarons: Envision Blair relaxing with her macarons while watching her prized movies in a bath. While this may not be entirely realistic to recreate entirely while in the dorms, a visit to Ellie’s Bakery for macarons and an evening of watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday, and any other Hepburn favorite of yours will certainly fulfill a Gossip Girl evening narrative. 
  • Recreate Blair’s apple pie recipe: visit the local Whole Foods for the finest ingredients and enjoy baking Blair & Herald Waldorf’s infamous Thanksgiving pie recipe. 
  • Ice Skating at the Bank Newport City Center: a Blair Waldorf-style winter activity! Find your most stylish, cold-weather fashion & prepare for a winter wonderland skating experience.

Maggie Seidel is the President of the Her Campus at Brown chapter. In this role, she oversees and recruits new members and writers, produces content for Pinterest and Instagram, manages the calendar, editorial process, and brand partnerships, leads weekly meetings and outreach, and contributes weekly articles. Maggie studies International & Public Affairs and Entrepreneurship, and she is a current junior. She is also a chair on the executive leadership team of Brown University's Women in Business, a teaching assistant for an entrepreneurship class at Brown, and a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Her Campus is Maggie's place of happy. She also loves to play tennis, celebrate holidays of any and all kinds, curate new Pinterest boards, and enjoy a leisurely weekend brunch and cup of warm coffee.
