A new semester means it is time to try new Ivy Room smoothies, so here are some of my personal favorites and go-to orders!
- Tropical Treat
Strawberry, mango, peach, strawberry yogurt, apple juice, and honey.
Description: This recipe is a great one to complement an Ivy Room lunch or dinner, isn’t too light or heavy, and the tropical fruits make it a nice smoothie for a warmer day.
- Glowy Greens
Ingredients: Strawberry, mango, peach, spinach, yogurt, and apple juice.
Description: This is my friend’s favorite and is very similar to the smoothie recipe above, just with the added spinach for more nutrients and health benefits.
- Strawberry Diner ShakeÂ
Ingredients: Strawberry, banana, vanilla yogurt, milk of your choice, and honey. Bonus: cacao powder.
Description: This is a classic strawberry banana smoothie that’s super sweet and nostalgic. I would also recommend adding cacao powder sometimes as a “milkshake” effect.
- Endless Summer SmoothieÂ
Ingredients: Strawberry, blueberry/mango, apple juice, ice: this is definitely my favorite to have on a warm day picnicking on the Main Green.Â
Description: The ice is very refreshing and the fruits make it taste like a sweet slushie!
