What made you want to write a book?
CC: I’ve always really liked reading, but the more I read I found books never ended the way I wanted. So I decided to write a book with a storyline I had control of. Before I knew it I had a book that was over 200 pages long and my sister convinced me to publish it.
What was your favorite part of the publishing experience?
CC: My favorite part was talking to the editor that read it. He was the first person that actually read it and gave me feedback. It made the whole process seem real.
HC:After having a successful experience with your first book, how was your second publishing experience different?
CC: The publishing process the second time around felt a little more rushed. I felt more pressure to write my second book because it was a sequel. Also with the second book there was a lot more editing and going back and rethinking different parts of the book. But overall it wasn’t too different and it was still a rewarding experience.
Do you plan on writing any other books?
CC: I’m working on my third and fourth books right now, and I plan on having the third come out this winter.
