Easy Stocking Suffers and Cheap Secret Santa Gifts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Whether you’re filled with Christmas spirit and getting started on your shopping list, or you’re stuck on what to give the person that seems to have it all, these simple and cheap gifts will be perfect for just about anyone!

1.      For a small, fun stocking stuffer, try this new Candy Cane scented chapstick that can be bought from most drug stores like CVS and Target for $4.99. This is perfect for that friend that always asks to borrow your chap stick, or the friend that loves the holiday season!

2.      One of our suitemates’ mom recently dropped us all a big goodie bad and this nail polish set was the first thing we all grabbed at once. The set comes with 4 bottles of nail polish, with colors perfect to use this season.

3.      Who doesn’t love fuzzy socks?! Anyone could use another pair of fuzzy socks; they make everyone happy, and keep their feet warm! These holiday fuzzy socks can be found online on Amazon, or in stores like Old Navy. Also, Target has high-knee holiday socks $5, like these:

4.      If you’re feeling generous, a portable phone charger is one of the nicest Christmas gifts a girl can recieve. Especially for that girl, the one who’s phone always dies 45 minutes into the school day, and then has to walk around with her wall charger all day. We all know someone who would benefit from one of these. This Fuel+ charger comes in bright colors and is currently on sale for only $12 at Walmart.

5.      Doing Secret Santa with your friends right now? Being the broke college students that we all are, it’s totally acceptable to shop at the Dollar Tree at the Lincoln Plaza to get gifts for cheap. At the Dollar Tree there are a variety of sizes of wine glasses, and you can decorating the bottom with glitter like in the picture below. If you want to do something like this, we recommend using a spray adhesive to get the glitter on and throwing some modge podge on top to help the glitter stick.
