Meet the President of TKE: Jack Scott
Tell me about yourself?  (Hometown, Grade, Major, and a fun fact/something interesting about you) Â
My name is Jack Scott and I am from Boston, MA. I am currently a Junior here at Bryant and am studying finance and economics. Something you might not know about me is that I coach a middle school wrestling team in Providence, RI. Â
Why did you want to be president of TKE?Â
I became the president of TKE because I saw how much potential we have both as individuals and as a fraternity. I want to make our fraternity as strong as possible not just socially, but academically and professionally as well. Â
What are some goals you have for your term?Â
One goal I have for my term as president is to re-vamp our fundraising and philanthropic efforts. While the pandemic impacted our ability to host events, it has been extremely fulfilling to be able to do so once again. Â
What are some events that you have planned/are looking forward to?Â
We are very excited to be partnering with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for several upcoming fundraising events. On top of this, our brothers are looking forward to attending our annual conclave this spring, which will be held in Houston, Texas.Â
Favorite thing about TKE?Â
My favorite thing about TKE is our brothers. Although this may seem like a stereotypical answer, it is a genuine one. Each brother in our fraternity is unique and adds value to our brotherhood in different ways by bringing unique and thoughtful perspectives and ideas.Â
