Meet the President of Delta Chi: Matthew Mischler
Tell me about yourself? (Hometown, Grade, Major, and a fun fact/something interesting about you)
I’m from Hanover, Massachusetts. I’m a junior here at Bryant University. My fun fact is that I was born in Thailand and that I was fortunate to travel all over the world due to my dad’s job. Which included me and my family living in Hong Kong for 3 years.
Why did you want to be president of Delta Chi?
I wanted to become President of Delta Chi to make a difference in this chapter. Once it’s all said and done when my term eventually comes to an end that we as a fraternity have done our due diligence to create an ever-improving environment and organization.
What are some goals you have for your term?
Some goals I have for our chapter is to double our total amount raised to charity from the previous year, increase our involvement around campus, and increase our chapter GPA.
What are some events that you have planned/are looking forward to?
One event I’m most looking forward to will take place in the fall. It is our yearly Delta Chi classic golf outing. This event takes months upon months of planning and involvement from the entire chapter. The money we raise from this outing goes towards a charity of our choosing. This is our chapter’s favorite event every year as all our hard work results in raising money for a great cause.
Favorite thing about Delta Chi?
My favorite thing about Delta Chi is the bond we share between all our brothers. The brothers of Delta Chi are the greatest group of guys I could’ve met and chosen to surrounded myself with.
