Paxton 1345 – Luxury Boxers

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

A few days ago I was stumbling through the internet trying to find the most perfect gift to get my boyfriend.  After searching countless sale sections of websites, trying to find the cheapest Patriot tickets I could, and typing in “DIY boyfriend gifts” on Pinterest I decided to quit.  I, being all “shopping-depressed”, resulted to Facebook.  Not to find a gift, of course, but just to relieve my stress by laughing at stupid pictures from the weekend and see updates from my mom’s pictures of our Christmas trees all decorated.

In my news feed, one of my friends “liked” a page called Paxton 1345.  So, I checked it out.  Paxton 1345 is a boxer short company.  Seems a bit boring, but they aren’t just any boxer short company.  They’re a luxury line of designer boxers for women and men made with a “flattering and streamlined cut”.  These boxers are for the “urban professional” and “aspiring college undergrad and grad students” who really understand that, most of the time, a high price returns valued products and services.  These boxers represent status and luxury.

Intense, right?  I’m used to throwing on a pair of $8.95 boxers for bed time and sleeping fine.  That was, of course, until I slept in a pair of Paxton 1345’s.  The Egyptian cotton wrapped so comfortably around my skin and the colorful design made me wonder if studying for finals was all that bad.

Oh, I forgot to mention what actually led me to buying a pair.  So I jumped onto their website Paxtion1345.com and being a Connecticut resident, I felt extremely connected to the company.  They name their boxers after Connecticut (and other states as well!) towns.  Darien and Westport incorporate the pink while New Cannan sports the plaid pattern.  Darien, Westport, and New Cannan are all towns in Connecticut.  Paxton also gave life to boxers with names like Beantown, Montauk, and Harvard Square.  I thought that was so cool and different.  I work in Westport so clicked on those, chose my size, and sent them over to my cart.   I then realized they were having a holiday promotion for a set of men’s and women’s holiday boxers…HELLO CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY BOYFRIEND!  His stocking will now be filled with a pair of Greenwich boxers which accompany a pair of matching ones for me!

Kind of clichĂ© to get your special someone a pair of boxers but I can just imagine the look on his face when he picks these up and feels the material run through his fingers.  These boxers are a bit pricey, yes, but being a business student, I realize that a lot of the time cost comes with quality…and you should too.  If you buy a pair of boxers now, Paxton 1345 is having a holiday sale where everything, and I mean everything, is 15% off.  So, whether you’re looking to buy your dad his birthday gift, treat yourself to a little bit of shopping therapy from finals, fill your sister’s stocking with something luxurious, or buy your boyfriend the perfect Christmas gift, these boxers are it. Let me know what you think of them, and don’t forget to buy a pair now since they are 15% off.  Don’t forget to “like” them on Facebook and visit their site!
