As girls, we have a lot of jewelry and accessories- the only problem, there’s no space for us to store it all in a tiny dorm! Fear no more, Her Campus ladies, our Pinterest-inspired DIY project this week is a coat hanger jewelry organizer. It’s simple, convenient, and a cute way to show off all your favorite accessories.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- A wooden hanger
- Looped screws
- Sharp screw
- A nail
- A screwdriver
Now just follow these easy steps and in no time you’ll have your own jewelry organizer:
- Press the sharp screw into the coat hanger just enough to make a hole
- Start screwing the looped screw with the help of a nail
- Repeat this for the remaining looped screws *make sure the space between each is balanced
- Start hanging your earring, bracelets and necklaces
- To hang rings, just twirl wire around the lower end of the hanger
Attach a Command hook to your wall and hang up your new organizer! Look under the DIY section of Pinterest for more easy projects to make!
