After months of anticipation (nine months, to be exact), the second baby of William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has finally arrived! The baby was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London on Saturday, May 2. The royal family left the hospital just 12 hours after Duchess Kate was admitted.Â
Unfortunately, the royal couple still hasn’t revealed a name, but we do know one important fact: IT’S A GIRL!Â
William and Kate had not previously released the sex of the baby, but they did give us an enormous clue. There have been crowds gathered outside of St. Mary’s Hospital for about two weeks waiting for Duchess Kate’s arrival, and four days ago the royal couple send them a gift of pastries and drinks. These pastries were wrapped in pink ribbon, eluding to the fact that they were expecting a baby girl.Â
The princess was born at 8 lbs 3 oz and is now back at Kensington Palace with her family. She is fourth in line for the crown.
Congratulations to William and Kate on the birth of their daughter!
