Now that there’s a chill in the air, it’s the perfect time to get your squad together and have the ultimate girls’ night in. Here are some fun ideas for what to do:

Spa Treatments
I love a Girls’ Night In that involves pampering as a form of de-stressing and self-care. You can make a really simple moisturizing face mask out of ingredients from the dining hall, but we can’t forget to treat those lips. My current must-have lip balm is the eos organic lip balm in Tropical Mango. The scent has hints of mango and coconut that help me pretend that I’m on a tropical beach in the Caribbean instead of freezing in the North East. Since the winter air dries my skin out like crazy, organic oils and shea butter keep my lips soft and smooth all day. Plus, using eos always makes me feel good because it contains sustainably sourced ingredients and they never test on animals.

DIYs
One of my favorite things to do on a Girls’ Night In is listening to music and creating DIY projects with my friends. I wanted to create a gallery wall to decorate the plain white walls of my room so I scoured the internet and downloaded some free printables to put onto my wall. Since we all know that dorms are really strict about damaging your walls, I used the VELCRO brand “HANGables” Removable Wall Fasteners. It was a great way for me to move around the printables until I found a design that I liked and I also don’t have to worry about damaging the walls of my room by putting holes into it.

Mini-Makeovers
Having all your girls with you is the perfect opportunity to test out makeup looks and get honest feedback. I’ve been really liking the look of high-gloss lips with “naked” eyes. So I tried out Almay’s Goddess Gloss that give you high shine iridescent lips. All the shades are sheer so they provide a little bit of color to enhance your natural lip color while adding shine and moisturizing your lips with pomegranate, grape and raspberry oils. I was a bit nervous to try out this look since I was afraid shiny glosses would feel sticky, but the Almay gloss went on really smooth and didn’t feel sticky at all.

Late Night Food Runs
I don’t know about you but part of the fun of a Girls’ Night In is going out for coffee and snacks at 11PM because you start to have the munchies. I always regret not bringing a hat when the cold fall wind is making my ears numb, so I love that Primark has the cutest pom-pom beanies to keep my head and ears warm during those late night Wawa runs! Primark is one of my favorite stores since they offer high-quality fashion at college student-friendly prices.
