Entering freshmen year you were told “This is going to be the best four years of your life,” but you didn’t know what that meant yet. Nevertheless, you courageously embarked on your journey and through all of the ups and downs, you have met people that will be some of your best friends for the years to come, and a few that you hoped to never see again, and made memories that you will never forget, or at least remember most of them. BU has become your home and you now see what everyone was talking about when they raved about #college. College is a magical world where you can survive solely off of coffee and ramen noodles, have a year-long “sleepover” with all of your best friends, and go out on a Tuesday night while still managing to make it your 8 a.m the next morning. To every college student’s dismay, all good things must come to an end and come graduation you will be sent off into the real world. Until then, here are 10 reasons why we should probably just stay here forever.
1) Binge watching Netflix is an accepted religion.
Why is there even a next button?
2) As is binge drinking on any day that ends in “y”
Emphasis on the sloppy.
3) Unlike work, some days you just can’t make it to class and you’re like,
God bless the friends that take good lecture notes.
4) And when you do decide to attend class it’s 100% socially acceptable to wear sweats.
“Actual” clothes aren’t actually an option.
5) Getting to live with people who also share your “lifestyle.”
The friends that have “I’ve done nothing with my life” breakdowns together, stay together!
6) Calories don’t count after 2 a.m.
And even if they did, it doesn’t matter.
7) The random hookups that we pretend never existed.
Too bad it took you more than one frat party freshman year to figure this out
8) Walk of Shames are only a dorms length away.
Or a floor away……
9) After graduation, being a “broke college kid” will no longer be an excuse.
Say goodbye to cheap beer and dining dollars.
10) And graduating means entering the REAL world and you’ll realize,
In conclusion, make the most out of your four years and create memories that will last a lifetime. Carpe Diem, collegietes!
