5 Fashion Essentials for Exam Time

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

With classes ending, more and more of us are starting to move into the library to study for days on end. When studying, there really is nothing worse than wearing uncomfortable jeans or that itchy sweater that distract you from working. Everyone has their study outfit: the sweatshirts and leggings they throw on that signals to everyone else: Its work time! But this year, don’t resort to your old sweatpants and sweatshirts. Remember that fashion doesn’t need to die over finals week, just gets minimized.

Yes, its hard to think about your outfit when you are focusing on making sure you have enough color highlighters not colored sweaters, but below are your 5 fashion essentials for exam time! With all that studying, fashion can still be a part of your everyday routine, in modified ways. For example, accessories! Big sunglasses are a must, to hide your eyes from lack of sleep. (Those Cat-Eye ones are totally in style, so people will think your being fashionable and not hiding those dark circles under you eyes.) Keep that comfy look of oversized clothing, but wear a draped sweater rather than your old sweatshirt. Switch it up from Ugg Boots and wear combat boots; they are great to throw on over everyone’s favorite black leggings. A circle scarf to act as two in one neck warmer/pillow and a big bling-ed out watch to remind you what time it is so you don’t miss your finals! With these five essentials you will definitely get an A for style!
