Everyone knows that Christmas shopping for a significant other is the most irritating, nerve-wracking experience ever and if you don’t know that either you have never shopped for one or you are some kind of superhuman expert gift-giver (in which case please contact me, I need your help). However, if your SO was a Disney prince, I imagine that gift shopping would be a lot more fun! If you happen to be a lucky girl dating a Disney prince or at least a guy like a Disney prince, read on to find out what your guy’s ideal gift would be!
Eric
This sea-loving, adventurer is one of my favorite Disney princes because everyone knows that regular exposure to sea water makes you ten times hotter. My suggestion for Ariel this Christmas would be to buy him a pair of prescription aviator Ray-Bans. I say this for a couple of reasons:
- They suit any guy, especially if your guy is like Eric and spends a lot of time on the beach or simply outdoors
- Constant exposure to sun can be pretty damaging to the eyes so I think this is the perfect buy for Ariel so he doesn’t mix her up with a girl who looks NOTHING like her again because guys are tricky; don’t give these boys any excuse to be like “ohh, I thought she was you, babe” when you catch him red-handed. I mean really, Eric? Can’t you tell the difference between a red-head and a brunette?
Hercules
Herc obviously spends a lot of time in the gym and I think I speak for all girls when I say we really appreciate the eye-candy (I can’t believe I’m lusting after an animated character but you know, it be like that sometimes). Even though I’m sure he doesn’t need a gym being a demi-god and all, I’m still sure he (or your guy if he’s a gym freak) would appreciate some gym equipment like a pull-up bar or punching bag for days when he can’t make it to the gym or climb Mount Olympus or whatever Herc does to keep in shape. That being said, Hercules also has a really compassionate, soft-hearted side so if Meg prefers to appeal to that aspect of his personality, I think a puppy would the perfect gift for him as well as any other guys with a sweet side and a penchant for animals. I mean I know he has Pegasus and all but who can say no to a puppy?
Tarzan
If you have a guy like Tarzan I think it’s pretty obvious what you need to get him for Christmas; I mean the guy is walking around in a loincloth for goodness’ sake. Christmas is the perfect time to update your guy’s wardrobe, especially if he’s fashionably-challeneged, because most guys like to look good but sometimes just don’t know how to go about it. Just make sure that you don’t get caught up in what you want to see your guy in and disregard what he will feel comfortable in as well as clothes that suit his lifestyle. I know Jane had Tarzan’s best interest at heart when she tried to put him in a three-piece suit but I mean, he lived in a jungle, Jane. Where was he going to wear that? To dinner with his brother and sister-apes? Ladies, don’t be a Jane, your guy will end up resenting you for it.
Naveen
This man-diva is almost a tad bit too in love with himself so that’s why it’s perfect that he ended up with a down-to-earth chick like Tiana. I feel like the greatest gift you can give a guy like this is the gift of humanity so a donation to a charity of his choice or perhaps even sponsoring a child from a developing country in his name would be ideal. As a girlfriend it’s important that we keep our guys grounded, especially if they have the tendency to get caught up in their own feelings all the time so something like this will truly be the gift that keeps on giving. That being said, you got to let him indulge a little as well therefore pamper him and yourself a little bit with a couple’s spa day- you get to primp and spend time together at the same time!
Aladdin
There is nothing worse than having to find a gift for the guy who has everything or in Aladdin’s case, the ability to get anything considering he has a genie at his disposal. When a guy has access to anything he could ever want then its best not to even try to compete with that and give him something that you two can enjoy together. A fun-loving, free-spirit like Aladdin will probably appreciate anything so get him an experience rather than a thing. Get tickets to his favorite comedian’s show or splurge and book a trip for the two of you so you can show him the world. If all else fails you would always just get him something super practical like a new monkey cage or carpet cleaner or something; at least you know he’ll use it!
