Lia Rivera (COM’18)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.
Meet the ten trillion tons of snow that’s plagued Boston for the past month—and Lia Rivera, who stands not-so-tall among the piles at 5’2” (She’s gonna kill me for sharing that.) Despite the wind chill and impromptu mini snow tornadoes that day, Lia and I still thought it was a good idea to go traipsing around the back of Warren Towers, because we’re both five-year-olds at heart.

Lia’s rocking floral black and white joggers from Aeropostale and a fuzzy lumberjack hat her aunt gave her, plus a black coat and matching boots. “You can never go wrong with all black everything,” Rivera said about her go-to fashion philosophy before we stepped into the frozen tundra outside.
Nicole is a junior Film/TV major at Boston University. She's an Argentinean first generation student who made the leap from Miami to Boston for college. She has chosen writing as a career for reasons no one can explain, except maybe with theories of her masochistic tendencies. She dreams of being on a writing team for a sitcom and someday becoming a showrunner of her own original show.
