HC: We hear you’re a snowboarder?
MM: Yes, I’ve been known to frequent the slopes
HC: How’d you get into that?
MM: I used to ski when I was younger, and one day I decided I wanted to snowboard, so I started teaching myself.
HC: Impressive! Where’s your favorite place to snowboard around here?
MM: Around here I like Okemo, Killington, and Sunday River. Out west is way better though, The Canyons and Snowbird are my favorite in Salt Lake City. (too bad the snow sucks everywhere this year)
HC: Do you have any tips for snowboarding beginners?
MM: Beginners, get a lesson. The first day I rode on the bunny hill all day and didn’t make it down once without falling. Now I’m an instructor and I wish I’d had someone tell me the stupid little things that make it so much easier and way more fun.
HC: Any other sports you’re into?
MM: I’m a big golfer, I used to run a lot. I like to play basketball, football, the usual.
HC: What’s your favorite sport?
MM: To play, definitely golf. (Yes, it’s a sport). To watch, football. Watching the Pats lose to the Giants (again) was painful.
HC: It was devastating for all of us. What’s a fun fact about you that can take our minds off the Super Bowl?
MM: Hmm … I have a really great pair of Burberry boxers?
