If you are looking for a girl who is as equally hilarious as she is able to ski down any mountain, then look no further than Nikki Farrow. Nikki, a sophomore from New Hope, Pennsylvania, is currently undecided in the College of Arts and Science. What she is not undecided about? Her love for the outdoors!
Nikki’s favorite activities include skiing, hiking, going to the beach, water skiing and fishing with her family. This summer she was in Utah and went on a hot air balloon ride for the first time, visited the Olympic Park, and went horseback riding through the mountains. Last spring break she skied in Colorado, one of her favorite places to do what she loves.
Her adventurous side does not stop there. In the summer, Nikki enjoys paddle boarding and kayaking and cannot wait to go out on the Charles when it gets nice (We hope sooner rather than later!) This little ball of energy also tried yoga this summer and fell in love with it right away.  “It’s relaxing and challenging at the same time.”
For Nikki, BU has given her life-long friends. “I lucked out because I am in love with all of the squad. Being surrounded by a core group of friends who are there for you and bring out the best in you makes life a lot more fun, and I’m glad I get to experience the best years of my life with them,” Nikki says.
“I like being around people, so in my free time I will most likely be hanging out with my friends, walking around the city on Newbury or down by the harbor; or talking to my family, specifically FaceTiming my cat. If I’m not, I’m napping because my roommate, Brigitte, and I never sleep,” Nikki laughs. (We feel you Nikki, we do!)
This cutie’s lack of sleep might have something to do with her awesome non-stop work ethic. Her dream job is to be a business CEO, and she admits that although that takes time, she is ready to work for it. “I see myself getting work experience and building a strong reputation for myself to get there someday,” Nikki adds.
So naturally, Nikki’s favorite place on BU’s campus is Questrom School of Business. She says, “It’s an environment where I want to be successful and want to challenge myself. Walking into that school makes me really appreciate the opportunities I have here.”
When she is walking into the building, she most likely will be listening to the soundtrack of her life, “Graduation” by Kanye West, or thinking about the second most important part of her life, food. Her favorite is her dad’s steak and baked potatoes (Yum!).
In a guy, Nikki looks for someone easy to be around, easy-going in life, who can make her laugh and match her positive attitude. “It’s really attractive when a guy is ambitious and knows when to take things seriously, but also knows he can have a good time and doesn’t have to sweat the small stuff,” Nikki says. “Also if they know how to cook well, that’s a pro!” We could not agree more Nikki!
