Since moving onto the same floor in Warren Towers this fall, these cuties have become inseparable. Both equally as studious as they are adventurous, these boys are engineers coming all the way from Africa: Reda is from Morocco and Avi from Kenya. And while this bromance is quite adorable on its own, these two individually are the greatest guys.
Avi studies bio-medical engineering at the College of Engineering. He is incredibly travelled: while originally from India, Avi has moved 8 times, most recently from Kenya to Boston. His favorite part of BU so far? “Everyone here is so friendly and happy!”. Avi’s dream girl is outgoing and easy to talk to – “so that we’re not both awkwardly shy” (naawww), and has a great smile.
Reda is also an engineer, and, don’t worry, he won’t let you forget it. He is from Casablanca, Morocco, so you know already that he is a nice blend of classy and spicy. If you’re ever looking for Reda, know that you can find him either in his room studying or working out at FitRec. Reda’s dream girl is someone just like him – spontaneous, active and approachable.
When I asked them what their ideal first date would be, Reda immediately looked at Avi and said, “I call it!”. It turns out that these two have discussed this before. Both boys would bring their date on a romantic walk through the Boston Public Gardens before dinner and dessert at Max Brenner’s. I guess they will have to start coordinating some double dates, then.
