Still recovering from the emotional and physical withdrawal of midterms and the chaos of this time of year, it would be silly to say that people are not beyond ready for a nice, relaxing spring break. Although your mind may be back at home or on the tropical island you’re visiting, it is undeniable that BU has some little things that you will miss while you’re away–or at least I know I will.
1. Sargent Choice Granola
If you haven’t tried this God-sent granola available at the dining halls, you need to. I have to stop myself from having granola and yogurt for every meal.
2. FitRec Smoothies
I would be lying if I said that the peach protein smoothies aren’t essentially my main incentive to go to the gym. They are delicious and the protein is perfect for an after-workout pick me up.
3. The BU Shuttle
Even though the winter months makes the BU Shuttle about as packed in as a can of sardines, the shuttle nonetheless gets us across campus in the coldest, nastiest conditions. For this, we must be thankful, because once we are off campus, we will not have this (free) luxury at our disposal.
4. Convenience and Dining Points
This goes without saying, but spending real money on everything at school doesn’t cross your mind when you have convenience and dining points. Unfortunately, these points cannot be used elsewhere; bring on the empty wallet.
5. The Best View Around
Most importantly, for those who are not Boston natives, you’ll miss the beautiful Boston skyline as BUs backdrop. We really are the luckiest around!
