Bucknell’s Concert Committee just released the artist coming in April for the spring concert…Darius Rucker with Eli Young Band! That’s right; Darius Rucker and Eli Young Band will be visiting our very own lovely Lewisburg on April 11th! Get your denim, flannel and cowboy boots ready because this country concert is going to be one you’re not going to want to miss.
The concert committee has a lot to live up to this year. The Bucknell community is familiar with last year’s concert debacle. First with Avicii canceling…twice, and then Lupe’s “fiasco” of walking off the stage in the middle of performing. The Concert Committee is ready to redeem themselves and they picked a great act to do so. This concert is going to be a big one! The concert begins with opening act Corey Smith, who sings the popular hit “Twenty-One.” Next, the talented Eli Young Band will take the stage and everyone in the crowd will listen “even if it breaks their hearts” to one of the most popular country bands right now. Songs like “Crazy Girl” and their new hit single, “Drunk Last Night” are chart toppers that will make the crowd crazy. Finally, Darius Rucker will win over the crowd with songs like “Alright”, “True Believers”, and the oh-so beloved cover of “Wagon Wheel.” Love hearing “Wagon Wheel” at Super Saturdays? Now you can hear it live! All in all, this is going to be the big event of the spring everyone is going to be talking about!
