‘Twas the night before reading, and all through the lib
Not a Bucknellian was stirring, not even frat guys
A girl typed on her computer, as a boy did on his
They occasionally exchanged glances, and both looked miz
Staring at blank screens, the frustration hung high
Students chugging coffee, it was sleep they deprived
Closed off in cubicles, heads in the books
No time to worry, about having good looks
When out on the quad there arose such a clatter
We sprang from our chairs to see what was the matter
Sprinting through the lobby, the students waited and mingled
What was happening? Could it be, the one and only, Kris Kringle?
When all of a sudden, it was ringing we heard
Followed by shouts, “Over here, you nerds!”
And who was it ringing this small, golden bell?
Why it was none other than Her Campus Bucknell!
Stop the hours of studying, and take a much-needed break
We have lots of yummy treats, and some super delicious cake!
Come one, come all and join us on Tuesday’s eve
It will be so much fun, we promise, we wouldn’t deceive
Good luck on your finals, we know you’ll do great!
One lousy grade does not determine your fate!
Ace those finals and be on your merry way
Perhaps take a ride in a one horse open sleigh
But remember one thing before you take off and flee
Her Campus articles are the best you will see
Read us on travels or for any old reason
Warm wishes to you all this holiday season!
