Quote to live by-  ” The future belongs to those who prepares for it today.”- Malcolm X

**Sean: Malcolm X’s quote is one of the reasons why I don’t party or sleep as much because Im always finding ways to get better at something or anything so I work hard and spend as much time working than sleeping or partying.

HC: If you had any super power what would it be?

Sean: If I had any super power what would it be? lol I would be able to transport anywhere in the world at my own will.

HC: Who is your biggest inspiration?

Sean: My mother is my biggest inspiration by far. Seeing what she was able to handle by herself, her raising 4 boys is amazing and for that I don’t believe in excuses, if something needs to get done, get it done.

HC: What things have you done or organizations are you a part of on campus and what have you learned from them?

Sean: I’ve had the greatest opportunity to play sports and then start my on business/organization on campus “T A C” TheAvenueCode.com, also Ive been apart of many other events and activities on campus, and what I have learned from them all is, in order to be successful you need to build the right people around you, people who are dictated and willing to make things happen, and who are better at areas of work you want to be great at, another thing I have found to be very critical is setting a strong structure of organization so that way you have balance in your scholastic studies, with family/friends, business, and also some personal time.

HC: Why did you come to buff state?

Sean: Faith I guess you can say. I never ever planned to come to Buffalo State College, to be quite honest I didn’t feel the college was good enough for me Athletically speaking. The school didn’t have the coaches nor the platform I so much wanted, but after making the decisions I’ve made I some how ended up here and it has been one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. lol

HC: What are the best and the worst experiences you’ve had while attending buff state?

Sean: The best experience I’ve had here was taking on a second major in media production, and the worst experiences, I will have to say giving a group power point  at a conference, and not being prepared, smh I remember in the middle of my presentation I just Froze in front of everyone for about 45 seconds, and went completely blank lol being a good public speaker I guess went to my head throughout the year and I felt I was so good I didn’t have to practice, and I was so concentrated on making sure everyone else who was in the powerpoint presentation with me was practicing and I completely blew it lol but I learned to always “Do your part” and never “Take any situation lightly”.

HC: How would you describe your experience here at buff state?

Sean: I would describe my experience here to be a “game changer”, my experience here has made me take an unorthodox approach to life.

HC: What do you hope to do when you graduate?

Sean: To help better people and change the mindset, and lives for as many people as I can, for the positive.

HC: What is your biggest motivation to continue on as a student here at buff state?

Sean: To finishes I have a family looking up to me and I have to finish “No Excuses”

HC: What advice can you give to females who go to buff state?

Sean: Stay focused on what has to get done, not the parties, or the men. Educate yourself and take pride in becoming a woman and not remaining a girl.
