17 Ways You Know You’ve Found Your Best Friend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buffalo chapter.

  1. You know their class schedule just as well as your own.
  2. You text each other 24/7 If something happens and you don’t text your best friend immediately about it, are you even best friends?
  3. You probably share locations with each other so you know where they are at all times, especially where they’re waking up on the weekends, or even more importantly, with who.  47 cherry street? Looks like somebody slept at Jake’s again..
  4. You go on endless pizza and chipotle dates with them; sometimes you even wonder if you’re dating. What a relief it is to be able to shove your face with greasy foods knowing you won’t be judged.
  5. Whoever they’re dating, you’re dating.
  6. They are your biggest support system, even if you’ve made a bad decision.
  7. They tell it to you like it is, even if the truth hurts. If he’s just not that into you, she will be the first to say it.
  8. They never let you party alone. If you’re dancing on tables and ripping shots, you bet their on the table right next to you.
  9. You share the same humor. Other people just don’t get your humor, but you already know when you’re together, you two are more likely than not rolling on the floor laughing.
  10. You hate the same people.
  11. They will be your best wing woman or your biggest cock block, when you need it. Some guys just can’t take a hint!
  12. Their closet is your closet. There is no such thing as nothing to wear.
  13. Sometimes they may even know you better than you know yourself. Best friend: “Eh I don’t really know how I feel about him.” **2 weeks later**  Best friend: “I like him.” You: “No sh*t”
  14. They know how weird you are and still choose to be seen with you in public.
  15.  They’ll listen to your same problems over and over again until you’ve beat the topic to a pulp.
  16. There’s no question that you know you’ll be in touch with this person in the next 20 years.
  17. Lastly, they are your soulmate. You have an everlasting, unconditional love for them and appreciate everything they are everyday.
