One benefit of joining Her Campus is the number of internship opportunities there are. The diversity of these choices helps to find the perfect place for you!
2. Connections
Becoming a part of Her Campus opens the door for many different connections in the fields of journalism, marketing, management, etc. For starters, you get hands-on experience from uploading your very own articles and getting feedback from your fellow team members. One other benefit is that those who join the Her Campus Media Team have been offered jobs and internships at a vast array of companies. Such companies include Glamour, Vogue, Vanity Fair, The Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, MTV, etc.

Packages from various companies get sent to us throughout the year with a lot of samples of free items! Our job is to hand out these items across campus, try them ourselves, and if you would like to, write an article on the product reviewing it. In the past we have gotten free skin care items, free hair care items, free makeup items, etc. It is a really fun concept because it almost feels like you are an influencer reviewing a product for a large company!
Overall, the outcomes from joining Her Campus Buffalo are endless and extremely helpful when it comes to figuring out exactly what it is you want to do in life. Our community is very supportive and positive, creating a very warm and welcoming environment!
