After four books were transformed into five highly anticipated movies, the Twilight Saga has come to an end. The final part of Breaking Dawn hit theatres on Friday, November 16, but for the die-hard team Edward (Robert Pattinson) and team Jacob (Taylor Lautner) fans started preparing around 9 p.m. on Thursday. Selling out all the late night shows at the local Celebration Cinema! in Mount Pleasant these fans waited in line to be the first ones to see the final chapter.

Being number one in the box office, Breaking Dawn: Part 2 has already made over 141 million dollars in ticket sales. Even the critics had positive things to say about the movie. Hollywood Reporter said, “The final installment of the immortal Bella/Edward romance will give its breathlessly awaiting international audience just what it wants.”

For all of you who do not follow the werewolf, vampire, and mortal love triangle, the last movie left off with Bella (Kristen Stewart) waking up to find herself as a vampire and having a newborn half vampire/ half mortal daughter, Renesmee.

In the final chapter, Bella adjusts to her new lifestyle, while Renesmee experiences rapid growth. So Edward, Bella, and Renesmee all live happily ever after. Okay, so it did not end right there with a big happy family.

With the Volturi hearing word of this newborns existence, they plan to end the Cullen family once and for all.  So the Cullen’s are in search of allies to protect their family from serving a death sentence. Might sound confusing to some but for the fans it makes complete sense.

Overall, it is a bittersweet moment that Stephanie Myers books will no longer be coming to life, not to mention there will not be anymore good-looking vampires or werewolves hitting the big screen anytime soon. As the Harry Potter movies ended last year and now the Twilight Saga has ended as well, the question is what is going to be the next highly anticipated collection we wait year after year to see hit the theatres?
