Ah, yes. The 2000’s. It was a great time, yet a horrible time for fashion. I remember bleaching my hair to death, then dying it purple with some crappy Splat hair dye that only lasted a few days.
Here are a few things you may remember if you had an emo/scene phase in middle school or high school.
Hand warmers
Wearing too much eyeliner
Skinny jeans in every possible colors
Dying your hair
Begging your parents to let you get a piercing
Wearing as many bracelets as you could
Wearing Converse or Vans all the time
Or even worse, knee-high Converse
Having a closet full of band tees
Always having your iPod or MP3 player on you
