10 Motivational Messages to Get Through Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

The semester is winding down and finals are looming in the distance.  We’re all feeling it: stress, anxiety and a lack of motivation to get things done.  We might be a little defeated and run down, but we have to remember that it’s the final stretch.  We can do it.  So, here’s some motivation that we all need to get through the end of this semester.

1.

Stress is a part of college.  Just know that you can take it. It might seem overwhelming at first and you might feel the need to crawl into a ball or phone your mom ten times per day, but you can do it.  Trust us on that.

2.

Maybe because it’s Harry Potter weekend or maybe it’s because Hemionie is actually excellent student goals, but study like a Granger.  You will regret not sitting down and doing the work necessary to succeed.  So go to the library (or other study spot), get some coffee and work!

3.

It’s self explanatory.  You can do anything you put your mind to.  You’ve got this and with the necessary work you won’t have to look back on finals or this semester as something you regret.

4.

As important as school, your grades and GPA are you have to remember to take care of yourself.  Put yourself at the top of your “to-do” list and take time to do the things you enjoy.  Go for a run, take pictures or indulge in a pint of your favorite ice cream.  Do you and you can take on anything.

5.

Just keep going.  Just keep going.  Work your butt off and stick to your goals so that you can make yourself (obviously the only person that truly matters) proud.

6.

Don’t doubt yourself.  You can do more than you think you can.  And you already can do amazing things.

7.

The ultimate motivation right there.  This semester might seem rough and you might feel as if you’re drowing under the weight of finals, but you can make it through.  If Britney could survive her shaved head, umbrella weilding phase, you can do anything.
