Why did you choose to come to CofC?Â
Because of the beautiful historic area.
What is your favorite thing that you have done at CofC so far?Â
Being exposed to the city.
What are you involved in on or off campus?
 The bonner leader program, which is a small group of diverse and dedicated students devoted to 300 community service hours per school year. We engage in dialogue about various social justice issues. Each individual in the program works with a local non profit organization where we develop as people and also work to enact positive change in the community.Â
What non profit do you work with?
I work with Chucktown Squash which is a program for middle school kids in Charleston to help teach them the sport of squash and assist them with homework
What have you done with Bonner so far?Â
I went on a trip to New York City during fall break with Bonner and partnered with the Met Council on Jewish poverty. We also learned about hunger and homelessness and food security.Â
For other activities on campus I also applied to Scope which is safe campus outreach prevention and education and I am in the pep band. I play the alto sax during basketball season.
Favorite restaurant in charleston?Â
Verde.
What is the coolest place you have ever traveled to?Â
New York City.
What is something you hope to accomplish before you graduate here?Â
Adopt a dog from animal shelter.
What is your favorite spot in Charleston?
My bed.
Anything else?
I play the flute and am going to Puerto Rico for a maymester to learn about permaculture and sustainable farming.
