Halloween is the scary cousin of New York Fashion Week. Costumes must be unique, iconic, and fiery. Of course, this does not always have to be the case, lowkey and fun outfits are always appreciated. The point is that costumes are a must. I’ve narrowed it down to a couple of rough categories: sexy, fun, and scary. So if you are having trouble deciding on a costume, here are a few looks I think would be awesome:
- Witch – Starting with a timeless classic, it can be sculpted for any vibe (spooky, sexy, comedic). As long as you have the iconic hat you’ll be fine.Â
2. Pirate – Another fun outfit with room for personal flare, plus an excuse to wear fishnets.
3. Papa’s Pizzeria Employee – You might get asked who you are at first, but everyone is sure to know the infamous waiter from the ultimate coolmathgame.
4. Mummy – A drop dead idea that’s sure to turn heads.
5. Margo, Edith, and Agnes – A perfect idea for a fun-loving trio with a love of Despicable Me. Bonus points if others dress as minions.
6. Adam Sandler – The man, the myth, the legend, Adam Sandler. The obvious choice for any girl who lives in sweats and has a sliver of humor.
7. Smurf – Depending on if you paint your entire body blue or if you go with a simple crop top, this could be humorous or hot.Â
8. Clown – A super flexible option for all three categories. You could go for the classic clown look, make it a crop top and be sexy, or even challenge your inner 2016 clown.Â
9. Bratz Doll – This one is for the baddies, the right blend of sass and fierceness.
10. Roderick – This screams “I’m hilarious.” If I saw someone wearing this at a party I would automatically want to be their friend.
11. Tinkerbell – An option that can be cute or hot either would be amazing.
12. Racecar Driver – Ready…Set…GO! Another super versatile idea that can be put together semi-easily.
13. Twins from the Shining – An eerie choice for an inseparable duo to take on.Â
14. Max and Ruby – The chokehold this show had on young me was intense, but a great duo option.
15. Vampire – Another ageless costume that any of the categories could rock.Â
16. Lifeguard – This could be funny or sexy depending on if you wear floaties, goggles, and flippers. Your choice.Â
17. Cupid – Baddies will love this play on the “basic” angel costume, adding touches of pink, red, and an arrow will take this to the next level.
18. Zombie Bride – One last versatile option that could work for the girls who want to be spooky or want to dial up the sexiness.Â
