It seems like this beauty is always in a rush. She can be seen flying from back and forth between classes, going to various events on campus, yet she never fails to offer a sweet smile and hello to anyone she encounters. While Kesha exemplifies beauty and brains, her sweet disposition naturally draws others to her.

It seems that you are always on the go. What organizations are you involved in on campus? I am a resident assistant in George, work in admissions, am a new member coordinator for Student Affairs, the Vice President of Alpha Kappa Alpha (and will take over as president in December), the chair for the Mr. Ivy League Pageant, and I serve on the Stern Advisory Board.
That is quite a list, what do you do to relax? My life is a maze. One of my shortcomings is that I do not have enough time. I need to change that. In my spare time I enjoy going out to lunch and, of course, taking naps.
Not only are you a student that is heavily involved on campus, but you also owned your own pearl business, J’adore, when you were a freshman. Where did the idea for the name come from? J’adore means love in French. The whole idea is that the pearls you are buying will be a reflection of the love they were made with and to promote a love of self for you as a person.
What are some of your favorite spots in Charleston? The Battery is my favorite place. It gives me a sense of peace and serenity and is my mini getaway from everything.
You are going out for lunch or dinner. Where are some of your favorite restaurants to go? If it’s lunch, Tazikis is my go to place. Virginia’s on Upper King is my favorite place for dinner. I recommend the shrimp and grits.
At the end of your four years in college, what do you want to be remembered most for? I would like to be known as a hard worker. I want my reputation to speak for itself. I only do what I say I am going to do and always follow through on my promises.
