Senior Natasha Boychenko can easily be described as “the girl who does it all.”
Originally from Chatsworth, CA, Natasha is finishing up her studies in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations, while minoring in both Music and Global Studies. At Cal Lu, she is the Head Delegate of Model United Nations, the DA for Political Science, the CLU Fencing President, and a CLU Study Abroad Mentor. She is also part of Senate, the Vice President of Pi Sigma Alpha, a member of CLU Omicron Delta Kappa, and part of both CLU and Chapel choirs. As she puts it, her relationship status is “married to Cal Lutheran,” and this list surely proves how true that is! Natasha really proves you can do everything you want have that all-around college experience.
Her Campus: What is your favorite thing about CLU?
Natasha Boychenko: Probably the community of students, professors, and atmosphere this campus has.
HC: Favorite movie/celeb crush?
NB: (1938) The Adventures of Robin Hood/Benedict Cumberbatch,
HC: What made you interested in your Political Science major?
NB: I came in knowing I wanted to work abroad at an embassy, and the world as a whole interests me so much.
HC: What are your goals for after graduation?
NB: Work at a foreign embassy would be great, and grad school. PhD maybe.
HC: What major would you have in an alternate universe?
NB: History
HC: Favorite place to hang out on campus?
NB: My DA office with my fellow DA’s because its always a party in there.
HC:If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
NB: Russia
HC: Favorite food?
NB: Homemade
HC: What do people say are your best qualities?
NB: Friendliness, dedicated, warm, and always smiling.
HC: Do you have a life motto or quote that you live by?
NB: Live everyday as a gift, which is why it is called the present.
HC: How would you describe your undergrad career here at CLU?
NB: It’s really been quite a journey. The best 4 years of my life. So memorable and wonderful. It’s been a gift.
