Hello everyone! I am so happy to have you be my guest on the blog today as I show you a DIY Princess Belle hairstyle.

This hairstyle is so easy and it’s a great way to rock the half-bun hairstyle that’s become trendy. Belle was a trendsetter.

Let’s get started!

You’ll need a curling iron, heat protectant, clear hair elastic, bobby pins, and a brush/comb. You’ll also need a topsy tail, but this is not necessary.

1.     The curl pattern for this Belle’s hairstyle is easy. The key is voluminous waves. Section off a vertical section of nape hair; take a section of hair and give it a gentle brush from root to end. Wrap around the curling iron until the hair is evenly heated. Release and finish off the rest head. Do not unwind the curl yet.

2.     When you have finished curling all the hair, let it cool thoroughly.

3.     Then, flip your head over and use your fingers to break up the hair at the root. This adds great volume. Flip your hair back up.

4.     Smooth the front of the hair and gently pull the top section of hair into a ponytail with a small clear elastic. Be gentle so as to keep volume.

5.     Take the topsy tail and insert it right above the hair elastic. Pull the ponytail through the loop. If you do not have a topsy tail, insert two fingers from underneath the ponytail. Use those two fingers to pull the ponytail through and create the flip.

6.     Go back and pull on the ponytail so that a bun shape forms. Use bobby pins to secure it in place.

That’s it! Add accessories, like a yellow ribbon for the full Belle look! You won’t look like a beast with this hair; you’ll be as beautiful as rose.
