Simply Regal: Bronze Smokey Eye for Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cal Lutheran chapter.

Hey, Regals! This week I’m going to show you guys how to do a fun bronze smokey eye look for a fun night out whether it is for Taco Tuesday or Borderline! I used three different eye shadow palettes to create this look: Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar palette and Urban Decay’s Naked and Naked 2 palettes.

  1. Start by priming your eyes in order to keep your eye shadow lasting longer and preventing creasing.  (In the collage left to right) Start by sweeping the shade “Foxy” from the Naked 2 palette along your lid up to your brow bone. Add the shade “Bombshell” from the Naked 2 palette to the inner corner and the brow bone for an added highlight.
  2. Then sweep the shade “Suspect” from the Naked 2 palette along the lid.
  3. Next, from the Naked palette, take the shade “Smog” and glide your brush along about 3/4 of your lid to the pigmentation you would like.
  4. On the outer corner of your eye, take the shade “Hazelnut”  from the Chocolate Bar palette, and blend this shade into your crease and outer corner.
  5. Line your upper lash line with black eyeliner.
  6. Complete your face makeup. I would recommend a neutral contoured look to even out the intensity of the eye color.
  7. Line your lower lashline with the same black eye liner.
  8. Blend the shade “Hazelnut” into the lower lashline, and then apply a little bit more black liner over the shadow for more intensity.
  9. Add some mascara and a nude lip color and you’re done! :)
