To add to the Disney hairstyles, here is a super quick practical bun inspired by Tinker Bell! This is awesome for oily hair, windy days, or to keep your hair out of your face.
Tinker Bell has some puffy bangs—very traditional of the timer period in which she was animated—but I omitted them because not everyone has bangs and some people (like me) do not have the face for bangs. Honestly, I think that having the hair swept back from the face is more flattering because it shows off fleek makeup and the eyes. I maintained the side part for the Tinker Bell look.
So, let’s get started!
The supplies you’ll need will be a comb/brush, hair-tie, and bobby pins.
1.     Create a deep side part.
2.     Lightly twist the sides of the hair upwards towards the crown. Bobby pin into place.
3.     Pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail, tying it as close as possible to the place where the twists end. You may need to readjust the bobby pins and twist as you pull the hair into the ponytail. Use a brush or comb to smooth out the back of the head. You do not want any lumps.
4.     Finally, form a bun. I gently twisted the hair of the ponytail and wrapped it around the elastic. I secured it with a second elastic and then use a few bobby pins to anchor the bun and place and make sure it looked good from all angles.
That’s it! Super easy but the twists in the front of the hair add some interest and volume, while also hinting at Tink.
I hope you enjoyed this super easy hairstyle! It’s great to have options like this because you never know when you’ll need it!
