This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cal Poly chapter.
Living in Poly Canyon Village, more commonly referred to as PCV, is super convenient: you’re on campus, you don’t need to drive to class, and you can wait until the last minute to leave for class. However, the hike you have to endure to get to main campus can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. Here’s what goes through one’s head as they make their way to class.
1. Oh god, it’s so hot already. By the time I get to class, all I’ll be is a puddle of sweat.
2. Should I get Jamba Juice? I could really go for a smoothie.
3. Yeah, no. Not worth it.
4. You know, this is a very beautiful view. It’s cool being surrounded by hills!
5. I could do without walking up all these hills, though…
6. I’m only like, halfway there. You’re kidding me, right?
7. I feel like I need to take a breathing break. That’s a thing, yeah?
8. Okay, I’m almost there. I can see Fisher Science.
9. Of course, just gotta walk up another hill. What’s new?
10. Finally, I’ve made it! Now it’s time to down this entire bottle of water.
We’ve all been there. At least your workout is done for the day!
