What are you involved with on campus?Â
I am a writer for Her Campus and part of the English club!
Tell us more about film and the movie you made last year!
It was a short film for a class I was in spring quarter and it was such an amazing experience! The whole crew was incredible and it was so fun to write a script and see it come to life! It was also such a learning experience especially with directing as this was the first time I’ve ever done something like this before.Â
What is your dream job?
Â
Definitely working in film. It would be amazing to become a director but I’ve been looking into becoming a locations manager too. They’re basically the person who finds the cool places to film different scenes! It requires a lot of traveling too, which I love. If not film, I always thought it would be lovely to own a bookstore.Â
Favorite quote?
Â
Oh gosh there are so many I love. One would have to be from the book “Slaughterhouse Five” which says “So it goes”. Basically it means whatever happens happens, and that life goes on. Another is from my absolute favorite movie called “About Time”. In the movie, the main character (who is a time traveler) has advice to the key to happiness: “The truth is I now don’t travel back at all, not even for the day, I just try to live every day as if I’ve deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it, as if it was the full final day of my extraordinary, ordinary life.”Â

What inspires you?
Â
So many things! Film, literature, music, art, you name it! I love anything that has to do with people and the way they experience the world. It helps inspire me to look at my own world in a different light.
