What made you choose to move to LA?

For school mainly, but to also expand my networks. Maybe get famous, haha.

 

Are you involved on campus?

I am! I’m part of Alpha Sigma Tau.

 

What is your favorite place in LA?

I like hiking to the Hollywood sign.

 

Who is your role model?

My role model would be my sister, Xiomara.

 

What is your favorite food?

I like red enchiladas!

 

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what is their name?

I do, I have a doggy. His name is Rico.

 

Describe your dream date.

My dream date would be to go on a hot air balloon and not die, haha.

 

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years I see myself buying a house for my parents.

 

What is your favorite thing about Cal State LA?

It would probably be the film studios they have and all the equipment.

 

If you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?

I fell in love with this one song recently; it’s called “Middle” by DJ Snake.

Christina Rivas was a previous writer of Her Campus CSULA. She graduated from Cal State LA in 2016 majoring in Sociology and a minor in Public Administration. She is currently a graduate student at University of Southern California (USC) and is enrolled in the Educational Counseling program. She is actively involved in helping students grow and gain the right strategies needed to succeed in college. She is also an Academic Coach where she meets one-on-one with students weekly to help students stay on track of their academics and goals.
