“What inspires me is knowing that I have people looking up to me and everything I do is for someone who might think they can’t do it or thinks their goal is not achievable. I want those people to look and me and see motivation to keep going.”

“Lose weight, be successful in my internship with Aflac this summer, and get our Her Campus chapter to Pink Level”

HC: What do you do in your free-time?
“I get my life together lol. I’m always on the go so the little time that I have, I try to hang out with my friends and talk to my mentees. Although I’m not as active with them as I want to be, I always check in with them.”
HC: Why CAU?
“I chose CAU because I felt like this was my home. The people, the environment and just the feeling I got when I came here really made me want to come and has continued to show me that this is where I’m supposed to be. Aside from that, I received a full tuition scholarship and the Business program here is amazing. I could t ask for a better experience.”
HC: Something no one knows
“Hmm. A lot of people don’t know that I have astigmatism and I wear contacts. Lol.”
HC: One piece of advice
“Be yourself and don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do and what you shouldn’t strive for.”

“I love you and I thank you for getting me to this point. You’re amazing and you too can be in this very spot just keep working and praying.”
HC: Who is your favorite person on campus & why?
“My favorite person on campus is Alexis Christine White. She’s on of my best friends and she always keeps me together and is always there for me. And I wouldn’t be able to do all of this Her Campus business without her lol.”
HC: How would you describe your typical day at CAU?
“My typical day is PACKED lol. I go to class, then some days I give campus tours, then I might have a small break to actually eat something and sit down, then I’ll go to OG training and then I’ll do whatever homework or other work I need to do.”
HC: Any great things in store for us?
“Most definitely! There are a lot of great thing in store in the very near future and I hope everyone enjoys them! As far as Her Campus, we have a lot of great events coming up and some more giveaways!”
HC: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
“I see myself hopefully married and traveling the world with my husband for a short period of time. As well as being successful in my career and working for a Fortune 500 company”
HC: How hard is it managing your time being you are involved in so much?
“It’s not that hard but I literally put everything in my calendar and write it down because I’m bound to forget something lol. It’s really about strategically planning everything out and sometimes you have to make sacrifices and compromise.”

“I’d like to thank God, my mom and grandparents, and everyone who has believed in me and pushed me to go above and beyond.”
