Savion Jerrell is a budding artist right here in the AUC. I’m sure you’ve seen him perform at various talent shows, as well as events in the AUC. Make sure to check out his new EP, “The Sleepover.” Here are some things we asked Savion to get to know him a little better.

What inspires you? “Being able to turn my dreams into reality and saving lives through music one person at a time.”
One thing you can’t leave the house without? My headphones
Short-term goals? “To become a song writer and to write jingles for commercials and perform my new EP “The Sleepover” all over the country.”
Long-term goals? “ To be very wealthy by next year, to become a huge aspect to the music business, and to no longer live a mediocre life.”

Hobbies? “Songwriting, going to the studio, recording new songs, and chilling with the people I care for.”

Why CAU? “CAU has made Savion Jerrell, it’s that simple. I wouldn’t be who I am today”

One piece of advice? “Don’t let nobody tell you that you can’t do what you want to. Stray away from complacency.”
Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? “I will be in the music industry bigger than Diddy and most of the artist right now, prolly even Michael Jackson lol.”
Favorite season? Spring time
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Ambitious, level-headed, and blessed.
What’s your favorite holiday? Why? “Thanksgiving because it brings broken and unbroken families together to spend quality time and enjoy each others company.”
Do you have any siblings? “ I have an older brother and sister, I’m the youngest.
