If we are looking for a local celebrity, how could we forget our Student Union!
Representing us, as a student body, the Student Union plays host to many unforgettable nights, and even more forgettable nights (all due to the low cost alcoholic beverages they offer!).
Spilt into two different parts you have the Union House Coffee Co, and The Lounge.Â
In the Union House Coffee Co, you’ll find a great selection of hot and cold food offerings (including a 10 item Breakfast for ÂŁ4.50!) and cheap Starbucks drinks! It’s a great place to meet up with friends, and your classmates; to relax, chill out and most importantly for a university student, do some work which is greatly helped with Free Wifi service offered via the Eduroam service.Â
The Lounge is more of a bar atmosphere and has recently had some great additions in the form of Arcade Machines being installed and pool tables all ready for our use! Not only this the Lounge offer a great food selection at fantastic prices! In the evening they host special events from Quiz Nights to Comedy Evening, bringing in some of the UK best known Comedians signed up with Comedy Central! The Lounge is a great place to start your evening off right and could be your perfect venue for Pre-Drinks.
