Spring semester is winding down, but there are still a lot of fun things going on in UNC Chapel Hill that you do not want to miss. To help you survive the last few weeks of classes Her Campus is here to guide you through the ultimate bucket list of things to do at UNC-CH before summer vacation.
1. Holi Moli
Imagine over 2,500 people throwing paint at each other in the quad, colors flying through the air to turn a Carolina blue campus into a rainbow of colors. This is Holi Moli. Holi is a Hindu holiday celebrating spring. At UNC-CH, Holi Moli represents students supporting other cultures and the campus’ rich diversity. The event will take place at 5 p.m. on April 5 at Polk Place. Be sure to get there a little early so you have plenty of time to trade your ticket for a paint packet in the Pit. You can purchase your ticket in the pit April 1 through the 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and if you buy before April 5 you get the reduced price of $4, before it goes up to $5 the day of Holi Moli. If you do not have a white t-shirt to wear they will also be sold in the Pit for $6.

2. Relay for Life
UNC-CH will hold its Relay for Life starting at 6 p.m. on April 5 at Fetzer Field. Relay raises money to fight cancer. The event honors cancer survivors and remembers those who have passed away. There are also live performances, food, and you do not want to miss the Luminaria Ceremony. Relay is a great way to support your community, so bring along some friends to walk around Belk Track and enjoy.

3. Carolina Baseball
It is baseball season, so if you haven’t been out to support the Tar Heels now is the time. Carolina baseball games are a relaxing and fun environment, great for a group of friends or a casual date. The next home baseball game is at 7 p.m. on April 5 against Maryland. Wear your Carolina attire and “root, root, root, root for the home team.”

4. Color the Hill 5K and Fun Run
Color the Hill 5k is your opportunity to get active and support your local charities while getting covered in paint in the process. Part of the proceeds from the race goes to the Academy of Information Technology, A Drink for Tomorrow and SKJAJA Fund. A group of runners will begin every 20 minutes starting at 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on April 13 at the UNC Cross Country course at Finley Fields. Registration for students is $35 before race day and $40 on the day of the race. This includes your race number, paint packet, a t-shirt, and sunglasses. You can pick up your race packet the day of the race starting at 9 a.m., or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 12 at Fleet Feet Sports in Carrboro. There will be food there and free campus shuttles from Frat Court beginning at 8:30 a.m. Run or walk and become a living canvas of color.

5. Fridays on the Front Porch
The Carolina Inn features North Carolina bluegrass bands on their front lawn on Fridays in what they call Friday’s on the Front Porch. It starts back on April 27 when they will host The Big Fat Gap from 5 to 7 p.m. They offer a menu and have full bar service available, so go sit under the Magnolias and listen to some good ole back country music at the Carolina Inn.

6-10. The little things
Pick a warm day and go to the Arboretum. You can lie out on the grass to get some sun, have a game of Frisbee or hang up a hammock to take a nap.
Play a game of volleyball the sand courts at the South Campus Recreation Complex.
Go roofing at sunset. Check out the view from Kenan Labs or from the garden on the roof of the FedEx Global Education Center.
Explore Kenan Memorial Stadium at night. Feel like a member of the football team and throw a touchdown pass across the field.
Between classes go sit out on the quad and know you are part of the Carolina tradition.
