Spice Up Your Holiday Party with Fun Festive Cocktails

The holidays are around the corner, which means its time to bust out your holiday cheer (aka your favorite holiday beverages). If you want to throw a fabulous holiday party, or just want a new drink to try, check out these ten fun, new mixtures! I’ve included a difficulty level with one star being the easiest to mix and three stars being the most difficult! Now get to mixing and enjoy!

1. Godiva Peppermint Patty:
Difficulty: *

Ingredients:
½ Cup of Hot Chocolate
1 Shot of Peppermint Schnapps (Rumple Minze)
1 Shot of Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
Whipped Cream

Mixology:
Pour 1/2 cup of hot chocolate into a Brandy Snifter. Add the shot of peppermint schnapps and shot of Godiva. Stir and top with whipped cream!

2. The Grinch:
Difficulty: *

Ingredients:
2 oz. of Mildori
½ oz. of Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Simple Syrup
1 Cherry

Mixology:
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into chilled cocktail glass and garnish the cocktail with a cherry!

3. Holiday Hangover:
Difficulty: *

Ingredients:
4 oz. Bacardi White Rum
5 oz. 7-up

Mixology:
Stir ingredients together in a highball glass. Garnish with a candy cane!

4. Baileys Peppermint Cream:
Difficulty: **

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Baileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate
4 oz. Hot Chocolate
Whipped Cream
Candy Cane

Mixology:
Pour Baileys and hot chocolate into a coffee mug. Top with whipped cream. Crush a candy cane and sprinkle it on top! Add an additional mint leaf for a special touch!

5. Gingerbread Apple:
Difficulty: ***

Ingredients:
2 oz. Domaine de Canton
1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
2.5 oz. Apple Cider
Few drops of Lemon Juice
Orange Zest
Agave Syrup
Graham Cracker

Mixology:
Line a chilled martini glass with agave syrup on a dish followed by spiced graham cracker crumbs. Place ingredients except for orange zest into shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into glass and freshly grate orange zest on drink.        

6. The Ninth Night:
Difficulty: **

Ingredients:
2 oz. SKYY Infusions Citrus
1 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. White Cranberry Juice
Lemon-lime soda
Lime juice

Mixology:
Combine SKYY Infusions Citrus, Triple Sec, and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into tall rocks glass with fresh ice. Top with soda and lots of fresh lime juice. Garnish with blue ribbon around the glass.

7. Cappuccino Up:
Difficulty: **

Ingredients:
2 oz. Stoli Vanil
1.5 oz. Espresso
1.5 oz. Simple Syrup
Graham Cracker
Cinnamon

Mixology:
Shake liquid ingredients together with a small amount of ice. Pour and spoon out foam on top. Sprinkle cinnamon and raw sugar on top, and garnish with a graham cracker piece.

8. Tinsel Bellini
Difficulty: ***

Ingredients:
2 oz. HPNOTIQ
1 oz. Limoncello
1 oz. Champagne
Splash of Lime Juice

Mixology:
Rim the champagne flute with a light coat of sugar. Pour chilled HPNOTIQ, limoncello, and Champagne into the champagne flute. Add a splash of lime juice.

9. The French Kiss
Difficulty: *

Ingredients:
1 oz. Chambord
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Dark Crème de Cacao
1.5 oz. Half and Half
Hershey’s Kiss

Mixology:
Mix ingredients with ice and pour into cocktail glass. Garnish with a Hershey’s kiss!

10. Ruby Slipper
Difficulty: **

Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz. Citrus Vodka
3/4 oz. Peach Liqueur
2 oz. White Cranberry Juice
1 1/2 oz. Barefoot Bubbly Premium Extra Dry

Mixology:
Place spoonful of pomegranate seeds in a chilled martini glass. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, peach liqueur, and white cranberry juice with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into chilled martini glass. Top with Barefoot Bubbly.
